Whether supplemental to an automated production line or integrated with a lean manufacturing cell, there are many potential uses for stand-al1 semi-automatic machines. Descher Automation can provide free-standing or bench top units for part assembly, part inspection, and finish processing, depending on the application. These lower-cost machines are generally loaded and unloaded manually and single-cycle operated via anti-tie-down buttons. Often these machines are less expensive to outfit with quick-change tooling, and are therefore a good fit for low-volume and multi-product operations. Some of our previous semi-automatic projects are:
- Pneumatic Impact Testing
- Relay Terminal Alignment
- Plastic Handle/Trigger Ultrasonic Welding
- Plastic Pulley Runout Inspection
- Pin & Crimp Presses
- Saw Blade / Shoe Angle Calibration
- Hi-Pot & Continuity Testing
- Threaded Fastener Assembly
- Rotary Mig Welding
- Non-contact Height Measurement
