This set of semi-automatic bench-top machines were custom-fabricated for integration into a consumer product lean-manufacturing cell. The first machine is a pneumatic press for cold-stamp identification of a plastic housing. The second machine uses an array of spring-loaded probes mounted to an air-slide to measure resistance and verify continuity through a stator coil. Both machines require the operator to manually load and unload product, and to maintain a pair of anti-tie-down buttons through the operation cycle.
